ASSESSMENT & DIAGNOSIS

On arrival you will be asked to fill in a new patient form. You will then be shown into the treatment room where Nick will get you set up for your session. Please wear comfortable clothing and underwear. Gowns are provided if required.

Nick will take a thorough history and conduct an initial examination to determine the cause of the problem and uncover any contributing factors. Feel free to bring any relevant information with you, such as medical scans.

If you are experiencing pain in the lead up to your appointment, try to take note of it's location and the things that affect it.

TREATMENT

You will receive a tailored treatment based on your history, examination and diagnosis.

Treatment usually incorporates different types of hands-on therapy including deep tissue massage, myofascial release, stretching and various joint mobilisation/manipulation techniques.

If there is anything you are concerned about before, during, or after your treatment, don't hesitate in letting Nick know.

ONGOING MANAGEMENT

Personalised advice and strategies for self-management will be discussed at the end of your treatment. This may include flexibility and strengthening exercises, pain-management techniques and lifestyle habits.

Depending on your pain or problem, you may require more than one treatment. Nick will discuss future treatment options with you at the end of your session.
